Wow!
When
I was a kid, I had an IBM Selectric that I found at a garage sale.
I fixed
the frayed power cord, and then used it to write "stories".
It was grey (and boring compared to Thompson's funky orange model), but every keystroke on the Selectric sounded like you were landing a punch in a Bruce Lee movie. It made you feel as if your words were IMPORTANT!
CRACK! CRACK CRACK!
Unfortunately, the typewriter is
long gone; thankfully, so are the "stories"!
Now, back to writing on my lame, quiet computer. At least I won't need as much whiteout. . .
